Roads, paths, walkways, and the like catch my attention. Always have. Travel and movement, going and returning, staying in some new place resonate with me.
I met this man, his son, and his service dog, Winston, a 3 year old Golden Retriever, at a high school tennis match recently. Animals can provide so much comfort and support. I learned how much comfort and support this past summer, spending time with a dog belonging to my friends, who made my issues with depression and PTSD easier to face every day for that time. Unconditional love. Beautiful dog.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”
